Chousat Yogini Temple :Temple is in between Bhedaghat and Dhuandhar. Chousat Yogini is a temple of about 95 beautifully carved statues of Yogini’s. It is top of the small hill with no entrance charge. Here inside the main temple Lord Shiva & Parvati can be seen together on riding on lord Nandi (bull). Main temple is encircled by 95 statues of yogini’s. Temple is estimated to be built in 11th century by Kalchuri rulers.

It is built on top of the hill and visible from most of the city part. While going towards Madan Mahal fort, one can also see another piece of attraction “Balance rock” in bonus. Balance rock is a large piece of natural rock positioned over another rock occupying very less area. Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department is planning for light & sound show program in Madan Mahal fort like going on in Khajuraho & Orchha.

Kachnar City Shiva Temple :Kachnar City is considered best newly developed section of Jabalpur city. With the development of Kachnar city, builder developed a 76 ft. high statue of lord Shiva under open sky. Statue was completed in year 2006 and made available to general public and devotees. Surroundings of statue was developed and maintained beautifully. It is most latest tourist attraction of Jabalpur city.

Dumna Nature Reserve :Close to Jabalpur Dumna Airport, eco tourism site called Dumna Nature Reserve has been opened for general public. It is spread over an area of 1058 hectare of land on Jabalpur Airport road about 10 kms from city center. One can do nature walk on this nature reserve and can see wild animals like spotted dears, Chitals, wild boar, porcupine, jackals, monkey, many species of birds etc. In addition to it, boating can also be enjoyed on Khandari Dam. Bathing and swimming in Khandari dam is strictly not allowed as crocodiles are present in the water. It is also a source of water for Jabalpur city. Children park and restaurant is also developed in this nature reserve. Many new attractions are under construction. One can see hanging bridge, tent platform, rest house, fishing platform on Dumna Nature Reserve. Entrance charge for Dumna Nature Reserve is nominal, Rs.10/- per person. Its timing is from 8:30 hrs to 17:00 hrs, 7 days in a week.

Gwarighat or Gowarighat :Jabalpur city is fully blessed by holy river Narmada. Gwarighat is on Narmada river on one end of Jabalpur city. Place is known for doing after-death rituals of Hindu religion. Many hindu temples are situated in Gwarighat. Here hindu people put ashes of their deceased relative in holy river Narmada with a believe that it will lead the soul of deceased person to ultimate peace.
Tilwara Ghat :This ghat is a another ghat of Narmada river. In Tilwara ghat, some ashes of Mahatma Gandhi were put in holy Narmada river. Here people usually come to take bath in river. Tilwara ghat in Jabalpur have many temples also to visit.
Jelehri Ghat :Just close to Gwarighat, another ghat called Jelehri ghat is present. It is a peacefull place in comparision to Gwarighat and often people comes to spent some time in peace and also to take bath in peaceful atmosphere. Tripur Sundari Temple :While going towards Bhedaghat from Jabalpur or vice versa, one can go for visit of Tripur Sundari Temple. It can be reached through side road, about 5km. deviation from main road. Tripur Sundari Temple have statue of devi (godess) that emerge from ground. Tripur Sundari Devi is sacred for Kalchuri dynasty and was a place of worship since then i.e. since 11th century.

Itinerary Madhya Pradesh – 6 Nights /7 days

Day 1 –Arrival Jhansi

On arrival at Jhansi railway station, transfer to Orchha (20 kms). On arrival in Orchha, check into your hotel for a stay of 1 night. Once the capital of the Bundelas, Orchha is now just a village set amidst a complex of well preserved temples and palaces. After Freshen up Proceed for sightseeing tour of Orchha. The tour of Orchha takes you to the Jehangir Mahal - the largest of the palaces , the Raj Mahal with its murals and the Raj Praveen Mahal built near a garden ,You would also visit Dinman Hardaul`s palace with its interesting story. The temples of orchha are highly preserved. The two main temples are the Ram Raja Temple with its lofty spires and the Chaturbhuj temple .Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2 - Orchha– Khajuraho (160 kms / 5 hours)

One thousand years ago, under the generous and artistic patronage of the Chandela Rajput kings, 85 temples, magnificent in form and richly carved, came up on one site, near the village of Khajuraho. The amazingly short span of 100 years, from 950 AD - 1050 AD, saw the completion of all the temples, in an inspired burst of creativity. Today, of the original 85, only 22 have survived the ravages of time; these remain as a collective paean to life, to joy and to creativity; to the ultimate fusion of man with his creator. Later this afternoon, enjoy a half day sightseeing tour of Khajuraho with a visit to the Western group of Temples consisting of the massive Lakhshmana Temple dedicated to lord Vishnu, the lakshmi and Varaha temples dedicated to Vishnu`s consort lakshm, the Khandariya mahadev temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and the Chausath Yogini temple dedicated to goddess Kali. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3 –Khajuraho – Panna

After breakfast, you will also visit the Archaelogical museum with its collection of stone sculptures of the Chandela dynasty, the Eastern group of Temples and visit the Jain temples of Parsvnath, Adinath,Shanti nath and the Hindu temples of Vamana and Brahma/Hanuman both dedicated to lord Vishnu.After lunch transfer to Panna. On arrival in Panna, check into your hotel after freshen up Enjoy an evening safari at the Panna National Park .Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 –Panna – Bandavgarh

Enjoy a morning After breakfast, drive to Bandhavgarh. (260 kms / 7 hrs). On arrival check into your hotel. Bandavgarh is a relatively small National Park; compact, yet full of game. The density of the Tiger population at Bandhavgarh is the highest known in India . This is also White Tiger country. These have been found in the old state of Rewa for many years. Time permitting, enjoy an evening safari into the National Park.Besides the tiger, the other animals which can be spotted here are the great Gaur, or Indian Bison, the Sambar and Barking Deer are a common sight, and Nilgai are to be seen in the more open areas of the park.Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5–Bandhavgarh

Day 6 –Bandhavgarh – Jabalpur

Enjoy a morning safari. After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Jabalpur (200 kms / 6 hrs). On arrival in Jabalpur , check into your hotel . Pleasure resort and capital of the Gond Kings during the 12th century, Jabalpur was later the seat of the Kalchuri dynasty. The Marathas held sway over Jabalpur until 1817, when the British wrested it from them and left their impression on the spacious cantonment with its colonial residences and barracks. Today Jabalpur is an important administrative centre with commercial activity Time permitting, you can visit the Madan Mahal Fort which was built by the Gond ruler, Raja Madan Shah, in 1116 atop a rocky hill - the fort dominates the skyline and provides a panoramic view of the town and the country side around it. Later this evening drive to Bedhaghat (23 kms) to visit the Marble Rocks. Boating facilities are available from November to May and while boating by moonlight is a thrilling experience , the Marble Rocks have recently been floodlit, adding a new dimension to their splendour. Soaring in glittering splendour, the Marble Rocks at Bhedaghat rise to a hundred feet on either side of the Narmada . The serene loveliness of the scene is one of cool quiet, the sunlight sparkling on the marble-white pinnacles and casting dappled shadows on the pellucid waters. These white rocks with views of black and dark green volcanic seams are truly majestic, and produce a magical effect on moonlit nights. The holy river flows by tranquilly flanked by the towering cliffs which reflect in it like a mirror the changing moods of nature. A little distance away, it becomes turbulent as it plunges in a mighty water fall known as Dhuandhar .Later return to the hotel in Jabalpur . Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 – Jabalpur

Departure After breakfast, enjoy a half day sightseeing tour of Jabalpur that includes: Sangram Sagar and Bajnamath : These medieval constructions were built by the famous Gond King, Sangram Shah, between 1480-1540.Rani Durgavati Memorial and Museum : Dedicated to the memory of the great Queen Durgavati, it is her memorial and museum which houses a fine collection of sculptures, inscriptions and prehistoric relics.Tilwara Ghat From where Mahatma Gandhi's ashes were immersed in the Narmada , and venue of the open session of the Tripuri Congress in 1939.Later proceed to the railway station to connect train for Onward Journey
