Kandariya Temple: It is largest among western group of temples. It was built by Chandela King Vidydhar. The temple derives its name from Kandara meaning cave in English and Mahadev another name for Lord Shiva. Its shikhara(spire) rises about 30m (100 feet) above the platform which it shares with the older Devi Jagadambi temple depicting Mount Kailash, the abode of Lord Mahadev in Himalayas and is surrounded by 84 Urushringaras, the smaller spires erected against the Shikhara.

Parsavnath Temple (Eastern Group Temple):最大的耆那教寺庙Parsavnath庙dia built in the honour of Adinath, the first Jain tirthankar. The temple houses an idol of Parsavnath. One of the surprising characteristic of this Khajuraho temple is that it does not have erotic sculptures as are ubiquitous in other temples in Khajuraho. There are many non erotic sculptures of Surasundaris depicting many postures which visitors watch spellbound.

Lakshmana Temple:Built by King Yasovarman, Lakshmana temple is the second largest , the most beautiful and is considered to be one of the oldest of all Khajuraho temples. Main temple is built on a high platform surrounded by 4 subsidiary shrines which are intact. It is the only Panchayatan temple which is fully intact. Temple entry has an elegant Makara Torana. The lintel over entrance has a figure of trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva with Goddess Lakshmi. There are 3 bands of sculptures on outer walls as well as inner walls.

Light and Sound Show:There is a Sound and Light show organized by Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Board every evening, History of Great Chandela Kings and of Khajuraho temples is narrated in the baritone of Bollywood Amitabh Bhachchan. Entry ticket Rs. 120/- for Indians and Rs. 300/- for foreigners. Two shows are held daily, provided it isn’t raining, there’s a minimum of ten people for the show. The first show, in English, is at 7.30 PM; the second show, in Hindi, is at 8.30 PM. There is an entry charges of $US 5 for the western group of temples for foreigners and INR 10 for Indians.

Panna National Park:Panna National Park is situated in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh, at a distance of around 57 km from Khajuraho. The region, famous for its diamond industry, is also home to some of the best wildlife species in India and is one of the most famous Tiger Reserves in the country. The park is known worldwide for its wild cats, including tigers as well as deer and antelope. Due to its closeness to one of the best-known Indian tourist attraction in India, Khajuraho, the park is recognized as an exciting stop-over destination.

Kalinjar Fort:它is known for its vast collection of monuments and sculptures, which reveals many historic events and practices. This fort was constructed by the Chandela rulers at the end of 1st and beginning of 2nd century for protecting their kingdom from enemy. The fort was constructed on 25-30 m wide foundation to provide maximum strength to the fort. It has a height of 30-35 m with 8 m wide summit with length of around 7.5 km over the hillock. The fort is constructed using sand stone and granite pieces, which are placed over each other.

Pandava Falls and Caves: It is located nearly 12 km from Panna city is surrounded by thick vegetation and is an ideal picnic spot for local people as well as travelers. The falls are close to the national highway and are formed by the streams originating from local springs. These huge falls remain filled with water throughout the year and can be visited during monsoons also. A large pool is formed at the base of this 100 ft high waterfall. Near this large water pool, there are some ancient caves. It is believed that Pandavas took shelter in these caves during their exile.

After breakfast departure to Chitrakoot Dham . On arrival Chitrakoot Dham after 2-3 hours take rest then go for visit sightseeing like Ramghat, Kamadgiri, Sati Anusuya. After breakfast continue to Sphatik Shila, Janaki Kund, Gupt Godavari. In the evening back to accommodation.

Gupt Godavari:它is about 19kms from Chitrakoot town. It is said that here Lord Rama and Laxmana use to come and had court at this place. It is a narrow cave on hill form which natural water is coming out which is given name as Gupt Godavari. Inside that cave, two natural rock structures are present which resembles as for throne arrangement.

Janki Kund:Janaki kund is situated along the banks of Mandakini River and it is believed that this is where goddess Sita used to bathe during the period of exile. One can also see marks of footprints by the river side are which are believed to be hers. During that time, rivers water was crystal clear and suitable to take bath.

A massive rock is seen protruding out of the ceiling which is believed to be the remains of theDemon Mayank.This demon had the audacity of stealing Sita's clothes when she was bathing and hence was killed by Laxman. It is believed that during their exile, Lord Rama along with his brother Laxmana held a court in this cave. Janaki Kund

Janaki Kund is situated upstream of the Ramghat where it is believed that Sita bathed here during the years of herexilewith Rama.

Kali Barah Fall

This scenic fall is located at a distance of about 1 Km. from theTikariyavillage. It is thrilling to walk along this gurgling stream on the rocks and to take a bathe in it. There is a statue of Vanwasi Hanuman on the massive rock.

Sati Anusuya

There is a stream of water falling upon the deity of lord Hanuman releasing in a kund and there are so many langoors in this area which are well associated with Hanuman located at steep hill side, on a rocky face. But now it enshrines the image of Goddess Parvati in Sanctum painted in black to give appearance ofJagdambi (Kali). At the entrance, there is sculpture of a warrior fighting bare handed with a Lion, the symbol ofChandela Dynasty.

Chitragupta Temple

Dedicated to Lord Surya, Chitragupta Temple has 5 ft image of Lord Surya driving a chariot of seven horses. Facing eastwards towards the rising sun, it is the place where most of the dance performances take place during the famousAnnual Khajuraho dance festival.There is a Chopra Tank; a deep three-storied stepped well that was built by the Chandelas which is around200yards from the temple Chitragupta. It is believed that there was a temple in the middle of the tank. The tank however is now in dilapidated state.

Matangeshwar Temple

Located outside the premises ofWestern groupof temples, it is the only temple where pooja and other religious ceremonies are performed. The temple has 8 feet long shiva lingam.

Chausath Yogini

The only granite temple in the Khajuraho, the very first temple in Khajuraho, Chausath Yogini Temple is dedicated to the 64 yoginis the temple had67 shrines(由于d 35 survive). Parsavnath Temple (Eastern Group Temple)

One of the surprising characteristic of this Khajuraho temple is that it does not have erotic sculptures as are ubiquitous in other temples in Khajuraho. Ghantai Temple (Eastern Group Temple)

One of the major Jain temple, Ghantai temple has played a significant role in the development of Jainism in India. The Ghantai temple is locally so called due tochain-and-bell (ghanta)motifs, carved on its pillars. This temple was of the same design as the Parsvanath temple, grandeur in conception and almost twice as large in dimensions. Diamond Mines

Raneh Fall

Raneh falls are about 20 km from Khajuraho, and are located just where the Ken Gharial Sanctuary begins.The river forms a 5 km long and 30 meters deepcanyon, the main attraction at Raneh waterfalls, through which there are series of waterfalls. The canyon is made of purecrystalline granitein varying shades of colors ranging from pink and red to grey. Apart from a few large and small falls which are formed at the assemblage, some of the seasonal falls also appear during monsoons.

Ken crocodile sanctuary

Ken Gharial Sanctuary is located at the assemblage of Khuddar and Ken rivers in Panna of Chhatarpur District of Madhya Pradesh. Established in1985, Surrounded by forests, the sanctuary has 45 km of river stretch with sand banks and offers shelter to wild boar, chinkara, blue bull, peacock and chitals. the sanctuary is spread across an area of around 13.5 sq. km. one of the prominent sanctuaries founded with an aim to conserve endangered Indian gharials. The sanctuary serves as a natural habitat to various species of reptiles including 6 m long fish-eating gharial. The sanctuary is open for tourists fromsunrise to sunset.

Baldeoji Temple

Baldeoji Temple is considered as a replica ofSt. Paul's Cathedral in London.The temple has the Paladian architectural style and was constructed under the guidance of Mr. Manly, an Italian expert. The central hall of this temple, which is known as mahamandapa, encompasses a number of pillars. Carved from black shaligrami stone, the image of Shri Baldeoji is placed on a raised platform to offer unhindered view even from a distance.

Padmavati Devi Temple

Padmavati Devi Temple is also known as Badi Devi Temple situated on the banks of Kilkila River in the north-west. It is an ancient temple dedicated to Hindu Goddess Padmavati.
