Panorama Point:Panorama Point is a noteworthy sightseeing attraction, which is popular for offering a beautiful sight of sunrise. The point is an ideal picnic spot from where travellers can sight Chanderi, Navara-Navari, Peb Fort and Mhas-Mal. Hillocks featuring Hart Point, Porcupine Point and Monkey Point are also visible from the spot.
Pisarnath Temple: Pisarnath temple and a few eateries around also make it a favorite for picnics, apart from being the main source of water to the region and adjacent places.

After breakfast we will go for all sightseeing of khandala and lonavala (Rajmachi Point, Tiger Point, Shooting Point, Karla caves, Ekvira Devi). Tiger's Leap: This is a popular tourist point, leaving tourists in awe with the wondrous view from over 650m. The echo point is a major fascination. It has got it's name from its appearance of that like a tiger leaping into the valley. The site is frequented by various tourists for indulging in adventure activities like rafting, when the stream flow is medium. Perfect for trekking, this site encloses safe spots for viewing the valley and its nearby surroundings.
Rajmachi Point:Rajmachi Point is located on the way to Mumbai from Pune, just before the starting point of the ghat, which is 6.5 km from Lonavala. Midway between Lonavala and Khandala is a fort by the name of Rajmachi Fort, a prominent landmark that watches over some of the most breathtakingly beautiful and wide sceneries of the region.
Bushi Dam: Bushi Dam is located a few kilometres from Lonavala and is a very popular weekend hangout for the people of Mumbai and Pune. Tourists come over from various places to visit the waterfalls, which are formed when the water gushes out through the dam during the monsoon months.

Panchaganga Temple– A unique temple with five stone conduits, it is believed to be fed by waters flowing from five holy rivers Krishna, Venna, Koyna, Savitri and Gayatri. These streams of water further join into the cow-face spout. The River Ganga is also believed to flow here once every 12 years.
Arthur's Seat– Also known as the Queen of all Points, it is the best place to get impressive views of the Jor Valley. The spot also provides enchanting views of the valleys and is a great place to spend time.
Venna Lake: The most happening spot in Mahabaleshwar, the lake is set amidst trees surrounding it. Take a boat ride on the lake or hire a horse for riding along the path. Evening free for shopping or your leisure activity. Overnight stay at the hotel.

On last day of tour we will go for Mahabaleshwar Sightseeing and you may do a bit of walking around Mahabaleshwar or do a horse ride on the trails around Mahabaleshwar. There are many view points like any hill station in Mahabaleshwar such as Wilson Point, Kates Point, Arthurs Seat and Elephant head point for guests to visit. During winter visit a strawberry farm. In the evening visit local markets for shopping. Guests with interest in Fort heritage of Maharashtra may visit Pratapgarh Fort (20 kms) and guests with interest in visiting old temples may visit Mahabaleshwara Temple in Kshetra Mahabaleshwar Area (10 kms). In the evening we will depart for Mumbai.

Ambarnath Temple: Ambarnath Temple is among the revered shrines of the region, which is located on Mumbai-Pune railway line at Akoli. The ancient temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is believed to have been constructed during 1060. Known for its resemblance with Dilwara Temples of Mount Abu, the architectural designs carved on the shrine grab attention of tourists.
Hart Point:Hart Point is one of the popular locations, which provides beautiful view of low lying plains and quite villages. The site on the north-western edge of Matheran hill station offers spectacular view of the widespread mountain ranges of Western Ghats. Mahableshwar Climate is more mild and pleasing in the months of February, March and April when the temperature cuddles at an average of 20 degree whereas during the summers, from May to June the temperature slightly rises to a maximum of 30 degree. Tikona: A prominent hill fort in Lonavala, Tikona is also one of its most important places to visit. Tikona literally means ‘Triangle Fort’. The summit of the fort being shaped like a pyramid, makes up for it being easily recognizable even from a distance. The fort is a trekking destination noted for the large doors, the temple of 'Trimbakeshwar Mahadev', a water tanks (seven water tanks) and some Satvahan caves. Lingmala Waterfalls:Mahabaleshwar is home to some extremely charming waterfalls. The Lingmala Falls atop the Venna Valley is extremely picturesque as the water cascades down almost 600 ft.
Dhobi Waterfalls:An extremely picturesque fall, the water cascades from into a deep valley before meeting the Koyna River.
Chinaman Falls: Another scenic picnic spot, the falls are accessible through the Tiger Path Road or from Babington Point by Carviali Road.
Wilson Point:A wonderful spot to enjoy spectacular sunrise and sunset views, three observation towers provide splendid views of the valleys around.
Kate's Point:A picturesque point in the hills, it is known for the echo it provides.

Trekking in Matheran:Trekking is one of the prime attractions among the tourists. The trail is carried out from Bhivpuri station and is frequented during monsoon when the rivers and rivulets cross each other making it a fun experience for the trekkers. The best time to visit Lonavala is between the months of October and May when winter season starts because Maharashtra state is said to be warmer so it is best to visit in winter season. But avoid to visit in Monsoon season because Lonavala is full with greenery so rainfall occurs heavily here, so it is not correct to visit in monsoon season.
The different kinds of 'chikkis' you get here are delicious and no visitor should leave without carrying home a bagful of them! Lonavala and Khandala are also well known for their canned jams and snacks like 'chivda', wafers and 'sev', so be sure to buy several packets. Shop at Maganlals, A1 or Coopers for the eatables.

The Karla Caves are a reflection of the mesmerizing beauty of the past carved and decorated with great details. The place is a paradise for history lovers and adventure buffs. Carved into a rocky hillside, Karla caves are among the oldest Buddhist cave shrines in India. Located on the Pune-Mumbai highway at Karla, these caves are claimed to be among scores of other caves unearthed in Sahyadri Hills. One can spot a major ancient trade route near the caves running towards east from the Arabian Sea into the Deccan. It is so because the early Buddhists used to settle the monasteries close to the major trading routes in order to provide shelters to the traveling traders.

By Road: Matheran can be reached via Mumbai-Pune Highway and Karjat. State transport buses from Mumbai, Pune and Panvel run regularly to Matheran. Buses can be availed till Neral. From there toy train is available to Matheran. One can also travel by cab from Mumbai and Pune. Remember that no vehicles are allowed inside the town. So, Matheran has to explored by walking or by horses.
By Rail: Trains up to Neral Junction are available from Mumbai and Pune. From Neral, toy train is available to reach Matheran. Toy train tickets can be booked in advance from Mumbai and Pune. Many express trains also stop at Karjat, from where a local train can be availed to reach Matheran.
By Air: Lonavala & Khandala do not have airports so one has to fly to Bombay or to Pune. The nearest international airport is Bombay (110 km) and domestic airport is Pune (66km).
By Rail: The railways bring Khandala and Lonavala to life, connecting trains are available from Mumbai Central Station and Pune Junction. All the trains halt at Khandala before travelling onto to Lonavala.
By Bus: The Mumbai-Bangalore National Highway connecting southern and western India passes through Khandala -Lonavala. The drive winds its way up tiers of ghats including the arduous Khopoli - Khandala Ghat. Within a short distance of 8 km the road ascends to a height of 369 m but the picturesque countryside makes it worth it all. State roadways buses, private buses, taxis and tour operators have regular services to the hill resorts of Lonavala & Khandala.

You will have to get off the Pune-Mumbai Expressway at the Khopoli exit and get onto the Old Pune-Mumbai Road. After 18 km approximately, you have to turn right towards Chouk town. One can also exit Pune-Mumbai NH4 at Haal Phata near Khopoli and then enter SH 35 which leads straight to the bottom of Matheran Ghat Road.
